Dye sublimation is the process of using heat to migrate dyes from one material to another. Using this technique, photos, text and logos can be sublimated onto fabrics, specially coated tile, and other items. It is as permanent as the material. UV light can cause it to fade, but bleach doesn't harm it. T-shirts that have been dye sublimated don't crack or peel, and they don't feel stiff like transfers and screen printing do.
What materials can be dye sublimated?
Any material containing at least 50% polyester (100% looks the best)
Items specially coated with dye sublimated overlay
Tile
Plaques
